This privacy policy explains which personal data jonas-vingegaard.com (Jonas Vingegaard Cykling) processes, why, for how long and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act. We are a small content site with no user accounts, comments or newsletter, so we process very little personal data.

Anonymous visit statistics without cookies
To see which pages are useful, we count visits with our own visit counter, which runs on our own server. The counter sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and uses no data that can identify you. We use no third-party analytics or advertising cookies and do not share the statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Technical logs at our hosting provider
When you visit the site, the web server automatically records technical data sent by your browser: IP address, time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. The data is used only to deliver the site, protect it against attacks and abuse, and fix errors. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted, unless a specific entry is needed to investigate a security incident. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Results, race schedule and photos
Results, the race schedule and his UCI ranking are loaded from our own server. We fetch data from the race organisers, the UCI and ProCyclingStats server-side, so no information about you is sent to them when you read the site. Photos from Wikimedia Commons are also served from our own server.
Clicks on partner links
Links to a partner go through an internal redirect starting with /go/. When you click, the click is recorded in our own click system: the time, the page you came from and technical data such as browser type and country, derived from your IP address. This is used to count clicks and to let a partner see that a customer came from our site. After that you are on the partner’s website, where the partner’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. As of 25 October 2026 there is no partner, and a click leads to a neutral page. See also our advertising and affiliate links page.
E-mails you send us
If you write to us, we use your e-mail address and message only to reply. We keep the correspondence as long as needed to deal with your request and then delete it, unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
You have the right of access to the data we process about you and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. Write to info@jonas-vingegaard.com; we may ask for information confirming that the request comes from you. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk or to the supervisory authority in your own EU/EEA country.
Children and changes
